The first aspect opens this new cycle with Journey.
This is Christopher Chong’s Journey of Metamorphoses.

In this cycle, Christopher Chong will draw elements from his life experiences and mutate them with other art forms and ideas in order to articulate and define his world through fragrances. Christopher Chong becomes the subject in this development. He is the creator, the subject and the object.

In Journey, he connects with early Chinese film noir, especially the ones portraying the underworld of 1920s Shanghai. In Journey Woman, he interprets the above with key ingredients of osmanthus and tobacco to express a fragmented world of improvisation. In Journey Man, he takes the above theme and wants his tobacco to be dark and sinful. It gives a sense of danger and the unknown.


The fragrance starts with a magical illustration of the purity of osmanthus enhanced with a blended composition of apricot, jasmine tea, honey, nutmeg and cardamom.
The heart radiates with a floral accord of indian jasmine Sambac, Abstract, Freesia and Mimosa. Honey from Provence is added to highlight the floral aura with dry cedar wood.
The luxurious base evokes a mysterious encounter with the radiance of saffron from Iran, pipe tobacco blended with daring undertones of leather, vanilla, cypriol and musks underlining danger of the unknown journey.

Heart notes: Provençal honey, cedr, freesia, jasmine, mimosa
Base notes: cypriol (nagarmotha), piżmo, saffron, skin, tobacco, wanilia
