YOUR OUDHNESS harnesses the power of Gaharu Buaya (also known as Mangrove or crocodile wood), a relatively unknown raw material from Indonesia. Related to the Agarwood tree, Gaharu Buaya falls naturally from the mangrove tree and washes up on the beaches of Borneo, where it is collected by hand and revered for its essential oil (Aetoxylon sympetalum), extracted via traditional steam distillation.

Having discovered this unique ingredient, Jeroboam brand owner François Hénin shared it with Vanina Muracciole, the independent perfumer who has worked on every Jeroboam fragrance since the brand’s creation. Vanina was given carte blanche to create something extraordinary and in Francois’ words:
