Marrakech Impérial is the first Moroccan Maison de Haute Parfumerie, founded by the Italian-Moroccan designer couple Kenza Snoussi and Massimo Di Nardo.

THE GENIUS OF MAALLEMS

The shape of the bottle and cap is inspired by the doors of the Imperial Places and the ramparts of the city of Marrakech.
More than a divine symbol, a true trace of Moroccan history, the first bottle from the Maison Marrakech Impérial draws its inspiration from the genius of the Maallems (Moroccan craftsmen) and the art of creating symbols, rosettes and Arabo-Oriental patterns, true gems of Moroccan architecture.
The bottle’s base, inspired by the geometric shape of the sumptuous Bab Agnaou doorway in Marrakech's Kasbah, of royal palatial complexity, rises to a shoulder adorned with brilliant gilding that reflects the reverse of the cap. This subtly light ornament expresses the vernacular and natural effects of the wind blowing across the sand dunes of the seemingly endless Moroccan Sahara Desert.
The cap, shaped like a truncated dome reminiscent of ancient imperial palaces, is intenJonally deconstructed to evoke a sense of incompleteness, symbolizing the incredible legacy of the succession of Sultan-builders who created the masterpiece that is Marrakech.
A symbol of past eras, the imprint on the cap evokes the luxurious Palmeraie of Marrakech. The palm tree motifs, shaped like a fountain, celebrate the vital role of water in the oasis of the red city, seamlessly integrated with designs inspired by the art of zellige and Moroccan craMsmanship.
