Amouage

Amouage is a luxury perfume house from the Sultanate of Oman, celebrated for crafting some of the world’s most finely made perfumes. Founded in 1983 by the royal Albusaidi family as “The Gift of Kings”, the House has reimagined the Arabian art of perfumery and earned a global reputation for modernity and genuine artistry. The Chairman of the Board is Sayyid Khalid, who succeeded the founding Chairman, his brother Sayyid Badr, in 2003. 

At the heart of Amouage lies a singular idea: an East-meets-West fusion that feels less like a slogan and more like a signature. It channels the contemporary majesty of Oman—once a historic trading centre for incense and myrrh—into arresting, alluring collections created for a discerning, well-travelled clientele seeking something precious, extraordinary, and deeply personal, every day. 

Amouage perfumes carry a sophisticated stamp of craftsmanship, quality, and creative integrity. Only exceptional ingredients sourced worldwide are used, while compositions are shaped by world-recognised perfumers working across Paris, Grasse, Geneva, and New York. Each creation is carefully worked to reveal an enveloping patina on skin and a long-lasting, elegant trail—where florals turn multi-faceted, spices and woods align in confident harmony, and rare materials spark intriguing contrasts. 

An icon in the perfumery world, Amouage has built a coveted legacy with a repertoire of over 50 fragrances. Critically acclaimed classics include Gold, Jubilation, Epic, Dia, Reflection, Honour, and Interlude, among others—names that have long since become part of perfumery’s living canon. 

Today, Amouage is available in more than 80 countries. Its international presence includes 12 standalone boutiques and a highly selective network of approximately 1,000 of the world’s finest department stores, perfumeries, and airports. 

As an independent company, Amouage pairs meticulous attention to detail with an uncompromising commitment to the highest quality standards. Visitors can experience this ethos at the Muscat-based Manufacture and Visitors’ Centre, where they may meet skilled craftsmen and observe key stages of perfume making—from ingredient maceration to bottling and packaging—while also learning about natural materials extraction. 

At Perfumeria Quality Missala, Amouage is more than a brand. We were among the first perfumeries in Europe to offer Amouage and among its early distributors. In 2004, the meeting of Perfumeria Quality Missala and Amouage helped ignite the niche perfumery era in Poland.
