Sometimes, at the start of autumn, there are some bizarre, even magical, moments. The garden is still lush, the climbing roses are at the peak of their beauty. And then, one morning in October, everything switches. In the early morning, fogs start to freeze, and the raindrops turn into flakes. The first snow…
Everything turns white, smooth and pure. A feeling of healing emanates from a garden that is padded, felt-lined, endowed with smoothness. The frost has redesigned the roses, hemmed with fine white crystals. Sometimes, they even look as if they are bundled up in snow, their vivid, velvet petals contrasting with the immaculate snow.
The cold makes them stand out again, accentuates their fragility but also bears witness to their strength: their fragrance remains intact, just a little dampened, and you can picture yourself surrounded be gentle, powdery and delicate notes.
This autumnal feeling gave birth to Rose des Neiges.
