Three intense and dark perfumes that unlock the universe of animal fantasy in Barcelona’s Modernism.


Modernism was embraced in Barcelona not only by art, but also by every field of culture, social life and politics. Its main form of expression was in architecture and its maximum ambassador was Gaudi.

One of the most interesting facets of the architectural Modernism was its decorative aspect, characterized by the aesthetic freedom and use of eclectic figures, exotic animals and the fusion of mythological creatures and the real world.

Modernist symbology wanted to break with the ways of the past and create new art, thus we find a renewal of shapes, especially in conspicuous animals.



BESTIUM Extrait de Parfum
A fusion of the gothic and the exotic.

Figures from medieval bestiaries, popular folklore and legends were a source of inspiration for Modernist architects…animals such as twinheaded eagles, horses, pegasus, bats, salamanders…

Dark natural oud wood palao from Laos holds this complex animalic fragrance. It is blended with Turkish and Bulgarian roses that disclose its full intensity and extreme character.
