The inspiration for Love in White came from sea voyages to various corners of the world, during which Olivier Creed collected essences later used in the fragrance. The artist described this composition with such an unusual pedigree as “a part of nature that unites humanity as one.”
Love in White is a delicate and very feminine composition. It opens with the scent of orange peel from southern Spain, leading into an enchanting bouquet of white flowers: Egyptian iris, Italian jasmine, French narcissus, creamy magnolia, and Bulgarian rose. The base of the fragrance, where no single note dominates but all together create a depth of perfect harmony, consists of vanilla, amber, and Mysore sandalwood.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the fragrance is donated by Creed to support the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The first bottle of perfume was presented to Angelina Jolie, who is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
